MEB has organized extensive training sessions introducing state-of-the-art technologies to over 300 broadcast graduates. First HD TV Station in the Middle East
UBN spearheaded the establishment of the Middle East’s first fully operational all-HD television station marking a significant milestone in the region’s broadcasting landscape. Collaborating with Arabsat and 34 prominent broadcast manufacturers, the station delivered hours of top-tier programming, showcasing the revolutionary capabilities of HD technology in the Arab world. MEB’s vision and innovative efforts have left an indelible mark on the broadcasting industry, setting a new standard for excellence. Within four years the pioneering initiative facilitated an impressive 80% transition of TV stations in the Middle East to HD broadcasting, a monumental achievement recognized by the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU).
